A Slater A Slater gave Northumberland Hotel a rating of 5/5

May2008

We stayed over 2 nights for the Edinburgh Marathon in May and wouldn't have a problem staying here again. The staff we're very friendly and helpful. The room was basic but clean. The bar & dining area were pleasant and the location of the hotel is good, just a short bus ride (stop outside the hotel) or approx ?6.00 in a taxi to the end of Princes Street.
It's not the ritz but at ?130 for 2 nights was great value for money and a pleasant stay in Edinburgh. Shame the train service wasn't to the same standard!!!
