This place is a fantastic place for Veggies and meat eaters alike. The menu is extensive and very reasonably priced. You can take your own drink, we took fruit juice instead of wine and they were happy with that which was great, I've never been anywhere when you can take your own juice! We are going back again with more family and friends soon, its a great place with a nice atmosphere, relaxed so there is no need for feeling like you have to get dressed up which is nice in Edinburgh. I would highly recommend this place is your looking for interesting, good wholesome food. |

Last year in January my mother and I went on a short trip to Edinburgh and discovered Magda's because it was near to the b&b we were staying at. The food was so nice, that we ate there both evenings and when we came for another trip this year we had to go back again. The restaurant is decorated nicely and has a very nice and comfortable atmosphere. It is also rather small and so you never have to wait for ages to be served, also because the waitress is very attentive. The food they serve is absolutely delicious and they have a good number of mouthwatering dishes on their menu, so one could probably return at least 10 times trying all the dishes that appeal to them. :) And, as a little bonus, it is definitely neither too expensive nor too cheap, just the right price for the wonderful quality you get. So, when we come back again next year, we'll obviously have to go there again! Hope I made you want to go there as well, it's worth the visit. |
