Good bit of work gone into this traditional pub with friendly service and well kept beer. Nestles directly under the castle opposite The Hub. Refurbished in recent years and has outside tables at the back on Victoria Terrace offering a smashing view over the rooftops and down to the Grassmarket.

This typically Irish pub has a great atmosphere at night when they have live bands. During the summer months it may be necessary to queue to get in, but, well worth it if you like Irish music. The floors and walls are all wood with a small raised area to one corner where the bands play.

Halfway down Leith Walk this old corner pub has around six cask ales and two dozen malts on offer. Always busy on a weekend Robbie's attracts all types of drinkers, especially footie fans from the Hibernian stadium just around the corner. There is lots of traditional wood, mirrors, prints and unusual ornaments around the bar.
